Mahela is the MoM for his 275: It has been a great Test match, but unfortunately we did not win. Batsman would like to take this pitch back home. It was a great partnership which took the game away from India. Once you start playing for such a long time, you learn different things. I'm pushing myself to become a better player. The pitch slowed down, which was a disappointment. I made sure PJ stuck around and made a big score.

Dhoni: It is an impressive show of batting from the guys. We had to handle the nerves and really happy to see our batsmen coming good in the 2nd innings. The series will go close right till the last game. We are not worried too much about the batting. The wicket we expected will have a bit more bounce, it was just in favor of the batsman.

Sangakkara: Bit disappointed, but the winner has been the wicket. It stayed flat right through the 5 days and the Indian side showed a lot of spunk to save this match. Learn from the mistakes and go into Kanpur with confidence. Mahela, Dilshan and Samaraweera batted well. Dammika Prasad showed a lot of heart to bowl with a bad hamstring at 145 kph.

Superb innings from the two centurions - Gambhir and Tendulkar - to help India save this game. India were still on the backfoot but Gambhir and Tendulkar applied themselves and played sensibly to steer their team to safety. Laxman played a good hand towards the end and once Tendulkar reached his hundred, both captains agreed to call the game off.
